Keto and low-carb eating only works if the food is genuinely good. Here's a starter collection of 15 recipes we've tested at Carb Lens — each one is under 10g net carbs per serving, takes 30 minutes or less, and uses ingredients you can find at any supermarket. Snap any plate with the Carb Lens scanner to double-check the carb count in seconds.

What counts as keto vs low-carb

  • **Keto**: typically under 20g net carbs/day, designed to trigger ketosis.
  • **Low-carb**: usually 50-100g net carbs/day — easier to sustain, still great for blood sugar and weight.

Every recipe below works for both. Net carbs = total carbs − fiber.

How to keep it sustainable

The most common reason people quit keto isn't the food — it's the planning. Two tricks that help:

  1. **Cook proteins in bulk on Sunday** (a tray of chicken thighs, a pound of ground beef, hard-boiled eggs). Lunches become assembly, not cooking.
  2. **Track for the first 14 days, then loosen up.** Snap meals with Carb Lens to learn what your usual plates actually cost in carbs. After two weeks most people can eyeball it.
